Liquation Furnace

Description: Specialized thermal equipment utilized for separating tin from low-melting-point impurities through controlled melting and selective drainage based on the differential melting temperatures of the components.

 

Key Advantages:

  • Much lower cost than sending dross to electric furnace

  • Reduce 70-90% of dross quantity for retreating process

  • Extremely simple operation

  • Minimal maintenance

 

Here's how a liquation furnace fits into the smelting process:

 

  1. Recovery of Tin: Primarily from metallic drosses from the refining kettles.

  2. Impurity Removal: Without excess slagging, oxidation, reagents.

1. Type: DBRX-03 Liquation Furnace  

  • Power load: 90KVA

  • Capacity: 3 MT feed/batch

  • Feed: Metallic dross with Cu, Fe, Ni, As from IRK & more

  • Output: Crude Sn with low Cu, Fe, Ni, As

  • Sn recovery rate: 80-95%

  • Slag: High Cu, Ni, Fe, As with low Sn. Feed to electric or fuming furnace

  • Feed: Metallic dross with Cu, Fe, Ni, As from IRK & more
